Day 1

Today's Activities: Arrive in Beijing, Airport-hotel Transfer

Day 2

Today's Activities: Beijing
Tiananmen Square (50 minutes):

As the largest square all over the world, Tiananmen Square was also a remarkable place of several key events in the history of China, esp, in Chinese modern history, giving the Square more cultural significance. Near the Square, there are governments buildings, Forbidden City, Heavenly Gate, museums and mausoleum.

Forbidden City (4-5 Hours):

The Forbidden City, situated at the heart of Beijing City, is most prosperous between 1420 and 1911 during Chinese feudal society, as it is home to 24 emperors. It is precious wealth to China as well as the whole world for the great halls, gates and squares along with the intricate networks of side courtyards, gardens, halls and quarters. As for tour, it is not a single point, Wangfujing Street, Tiananmen Square and Shijingshan Park are not far away.

Temple of Heaven (1.5 hours):

Temple of Heaven, located in the southeastern part of Beijing City, is a complex of buildings in Taoist style. During Ming and Qing dynasties, it was a place for emperors hosting annual ceremonies praying for good harvest.

 

Beijing Roast Duck :

Beijing Roast Duck is not unfamiliar for quite a number of foreign friends, it is accredited as one of the most delicious food in Beijing. Among various flavors of Beijing roast duck, those in Quanjude are particularly famous. As a time-honored restaurant with their own special technique and flavor in making roast ducks, Quanjude can provide you most outstanding quality and unforgettable flavor. The largest restaurant of Quanjude is at Gate of Peace, you can go there for a visit and feast your eyes and stomach.

Day 3

Today's Activities: Beijing
Mutianyu Great Wall (4 hours):

Mutianyu Great Wall, about only 2.5-hour drive from the heart of Beijing City, is a place with fewer tourists but also boasting wonderful scenery. Optional cable cars are available, and from where it is also convenient to Badaling Great Wall by bus.

Ding Mausoleum (1.5 hours):

Ding Mausoleum, the mausoleum of Emperor Zhu Yijun, the 13th emperor of Ming Dynasty and his empresses. It is about 27-meter deep, featured by the Stone Bridge, Soul Tower, Baocheng and the stone-made Underground Palace.

Day 4

Today's Activities: Beijing to Xian, Flight to Xian
Summer Palace (3 hours):

Summer Palace, one of the premier attractions in Beijing and also a well-known tourist attraction all over the world, is among the largest and the best preserved Chinese imperial gardens. It is pleasant to take a ferry boat to spend ten or more minutes cruising on the Kunming Lake. 

Hutong Tour in Xicheng District (50 minutes):

Hutong in Beijing is just like Nongtang in Shanghai, which has already become a particular symbol of the city. Hutong, namely alleyways, is a maze bearing profound history, where rickshaw is available. Hop one through the narrow alleys, you can truely experience the lifestyle of the locals in Beijing.

Day 5

Today's Activities: Xian
Xian City Wall (50 minutes):

Constructed originally in the early Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), the Xian City wall is not only the most complete city wall that has survived in China, but also one of the largest and most complete ancient military systems of defense in the world. However, as time goes, many sections have been destroyed, only 14 km of wall survived.

Great Mosque (1.5 hours):

Located near the Drum Tower on 30 Huajue Lane of Xian of Shaanxi Province, the Xian Great Mosque is the oldest and one of the most renowned mosques in China, which was built in 742 and renovated in Ming Dynasty and other dynasties. Currently, it is still a popular place of worship of Chinese Muslims (mainly the Hui people). The Great Mosque of Xian is completely Chinese in its construction and architectural style, except for some Arabic lettering and decorations.

Day 6

Shaanxi Historical Museum (2 hours):

Located to the northwest of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda of Xian City, Shaanxi Historical Museum is one of the first huge state museums with modern facilities in China, which was built between 1983 and 2001. It exhibits over 300,000 items including murals, paintings, pottery, coins and bronze, gold, silver objects.  It appearance imitates the architectural style of the Tang Dynasty.

Shadow Show (1 hour):

Chinese Shadow Show (Chinese Shadow Play or Chinese Shadow Puppet Play) is one of the most ancient genre of drama in China. It is said that Shadow Show originated during the Han Dynasty (25-220) when one of the concubines of Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty died. Chinese Shadow play is a dramatic form which uses lantern to project shadows on the screen. The artistic effect of the play is produced through light, screen, music, singing, and puppet operation.

Day 7

Today's Activities: Xian to Guilin
Reed Flute Cave (3 hour):

Situated 5,000m northwest of Guilin City, Reed Flute Cave is the largest and most incredible dip in Guilin, which measures 240-meter long, offering tourists a good chance to see the a magic land of stalagmites, stalactites, stone pillars, stone curtains, plants, birds and some other animals in various shapes and colours. Reeds for creating flutes and pipes growing well at the entrance, hence the name. While in fact, for the karst terrain surpassing in Guangxi province, each hill is spontaneously hollowed.

Day 8

Today's Activities: Guilin to Yangshuo, Cruise to Yangshuo
Li River Cruise (4 hours):

Between Guilin and Yangshuo, there winds a superb section of Li River, featured by its jade water, which is also accompanied by verdant mountains, may make you feel that you are lost in a picture. There you can see lumbering water buffaloes pulling carts or playing in the river, farmers ploughing and weeding and fishermen gliding along on their slim bamboo rafts. A cruise on such a section will definitely leave you an unforgettable impression.

Day 9

Today's Activities: Yangshuo to Shanghai, Flight to Shanghai
Moon Hill (1.5 Hours):

If you have a look at Moon Hill from distance, you will know the reason why it is called that. Moon Hill is a huge slice of rock with a round hole in its center. At various angles it resembles from the new moon to a full moon. The rock is 380 m in height, 410 m in length and 220 m in width.

Banyan Tree (1 Hour):

Banyan Tree is situated 7.5 km south of Yangshuo, which is one of the main scenic attractions of Yangshuo county. It is about 17 meters in height, 7.1 meters in width. Covering an area of 1000 square meters, the tree has beautifully twisted roots and gnarled branches.

Day 10

Today's Activities: Shanghai
Jade Buddha Temple (1 hour):

The Jade Buddha Temple was founded in 1882 with two jade Buddha statues imported to Shanghai from Burma by a monk named Huigen in 1,882. These were a siting Buddha (1.95 meters tall and 3tonnes), and a smaller reclining Buddha representing Buddha's death. The temple now also contains a much larger reclining Buddha made of marble, donated  from Singapore.

Yuyuan Garden (1.5 hours):

Situated in the Anren Street of the center of the Old Shanghai city next to the Chenghuangmiao(Town God's Temple) area of Shanghai, the Yuyuan Garden is considered one of the most lavish and finest Chinese gardens in the region. With an area of about 20,000 square meers, Yuyuan Garden was built in 1,577 by a government officer named Pan Yunduan for his parents. tourists could access the Yuyuan Garden from the nearby Yuyuan Garden station on the Shanghai Metro Line 10.

Oriental Pearl TV Tower (1 hour):

Located at the tip of Lujiazui in the Pudong district, by the side of Huangpu River, opposite of the Bund, the Oriental Pearl Tower was the tallest structure in China from 1994-2007, when it was surpassed by the Shanghai World Financial Center. It is the world's third tallest Tv Tower with a height of 468 meters only after towers in Toronto of Canada and Moscow of Russia.
